This complete restoration and add on was a challenge. The home was built in the early 1900s and had “good bones,” but it had been neglected for more than 50 years.
We stripped the entire house down to studs and added a master suite, front and back porches and a utility room, updating the entire house top to bottom.
Doing our best to reuse and repurpose the long-leaf pine floors, walls and doors and freshening up some of the small decorative touches let the home continue to feel like an old house while functioning like a new one.
